Here you can get links and information on all my current online classes
I have now opened up my very own “online school”! It is called “Lucy’s Art Lab” and can be accessed by clicking HERE
On it you will find my current classes:
Imprinted, Let’s Gel Digital, and Monoprinting Makeover, as well as a link to view all my youtube videos easily and any new classes I will be adding in the future. This is easy to access and you can register as a student without having to purchase a class. You will then get your own login and password and will get notifications on any new classes and special coupons or sales that may be only available to students.

If you are a current enrolled student of “Imprinted” or “Let’s Gel Digital” you will still be able to access the classroom here on this website using the password I sent out to you when you enrolled. Any new students should head on over to Lucy’s Art Lab to enroll!
Guest teacher classes are pictured below: Clicking on them will take you to the sign up and information on the host teachers website. By clicking through my link you help to support me as a paid artist, as that is the way we get our affiliate sales fees. Thank you!

Do I have to buy an iPad to follow the Let’s Gel Digital course? Isn’t it possible with a PC or Android?
LikeLike
Hi there! The lessons follow how to make art on your iPad using gel prints. I use programmes such as procreate which is only available on the iPad. Of course, it’s up to you, if you wanted to follow the lessons exactly you’d need access to an iPad. If you wanted to use the ideas to make digital art using photoshop or android applications you could but bear in mind the steps would differ slightly and I don’t show them that way in the lessons, although you could easily do very similar things on pc in photoshop or android programmes if you knew how to use them yourself. Hope that helps!

I am a beginner watercolorist. I seem to have trouble with the paper buckling. Do you prepare your paper first. I have watched several online blogs and they don’t address the issue. Thanks.

Taping your paper to a board helps, or you can stretch it by wetting it then putting tape all round the edges first – let it dry then paint on top! You’ll need special tape that you wet to make it sticky

Lucy – I am currently working through Imprinted. I didn’t receive a password to the classroom when I enrolled last week. Was I supposed to? I wondered that perhaps as the class was no longer “live” I wouldn’t, but it seems from your website that I should have. The course is beyond amazing. I have taken many online courses, quite a few specifically on gel printing, and none come close to yours for the quality and quantity of beautifully presented and incredibly useful instruction.

You don’t need a password you already have access? See my other reply

Lucy, I enrolled in Imprinted last week and did not receive a classroom password. Is this because the course is no longer live? The course is incredibly, the best I have ever taken on gel printing. The quality and quantity of beautifully presented and useful instruction is amazing.

Hi robin I see you purchased the course thru my teachable site so you have access to it there! Email me or message me on Facebook if you are having any problems but you join teachable with your own unique username and password and when you buy a class you then have it in your account you do not need a specific password to it. The class on my website is the exact same class, I’m just keeping it up here for previous students who bought it last year but all the content is the same over on teachable

Hi Lucy – I’ve just enrolled on your Imprinted course and have applied to join your FB page but no response as yet. I particularly wanted to ask you if you have ever used Golden Fluid Acrylics (rather than Open) for gelli printing, and I’d be interested to hear your opinion of them. Thank you – Helen

Hi helen I’ve just added you to the group – Facebook did not give me a notification sorry and I’ve been super busy with Xmas fairs so not online much this weekend. You’re in now! I’d say give the fluid acrylics a go I have used them they are different from open acrylics but nice

Hi Lucy! I’ve enrolled in both “PYHAS2019” and your “Let’s Get Digital” class and have two questions… how do I get added to your Facebook group and WHICH Eraser app do you suggest for the digital class? There are a dozen apps and I don’t see the one you use. THANK YOU!

Hi again, Lucy, I’ve been added to the Facebook group, so no worries there, thank you… but I’m still curious which Eraser app you use.

Hi Karen I use the eraser app which has the symbol which just looks like grey and white squares I just looked on my iPad and it’s called background eraser for iPad

Hi Lucy,
I can’t find a Contact option on your site other than this one, so hope this is okay. I’ve enrolled in your Imprinted course and would like to work with it offline. Would you kindly be able to provide me with the download link for “Imprinted first week printing 101”. The link to the first video is there, but not the second, and I am new to gelli printing and looking forward to learning from you. Thanks!

Hi Lucy I completed a lesson you gave on Fairies in the Awesome Art School with Karen. I just fell in love with my fairy honestly it is the best work I have ever done and I think it is because I used an extremely light hand. I am visually impaired so I use a floor lamp that has different light “shades” and I can change the size of the image I am working on. So I can’t work with my paper in the normal direction I have to keep turning it. But I will not stop until I either can’t hold a brush or loose my sight completely,
Sorry I digress it lead me to your website and I notice you use a gelli plate. If I could I would do a dance because I have two the 12 x 12 and the next one down and haven’t used them. So I am going to sign up and go for it.
I live in Australia but my grannie and my mother were born in Stirling and very proud to say they were daughters of the rock, and I was born in Lanarkshire now living in Australia but I miss Scotland terribly. Although we have great areas to paint. I don’t think we have the “moody” skies and mists that make atmospheric paintings.
Thank you very much x

Hi Lucy, I’ve just enrolled on your Imprinted course and am really looking forward to it. I’ve watched the intro and there’s a slight problem – I can’t expand the screen so am having to watch in tiny format. The arrows to enlarge underneath the picture don’t seem to work. Any advice? Thanks

Dear Lucy
I tried to send you a message on Lucy’s Art Labs but you may not have got it. Like one of your earlier commenters here, I can’t access the classroom resources on this website with my enrolment password for the ‘Imprinted’ course on the Lucy’s Art Labs website. I am absolutely loving your videos and really enjoying the course but wanted to check a few things you mention like the colourwheel link that I thought were in a separate place? I may just have got confused but if there are any additional resources or links, please can you tell me how to access? Thank you so much. Elizabeth

hi elizabeth, sorry for the delay in replying i have been away with no wifi for a bit. Can you send me a pm on facebook or email me at lucybrydonart@gmail.com please so we can discuss this in private as I dont want to give out passwords on here. I think the problem is probably that you are trying to use a password for lucys art lab on this website but they are two seperate things with different passwords but I need to chat to you more to find out what you are doing so I can fix it for you. many thanks, lucy
