The lovely folks at Deco Arts sent me some acrylics recently to try out on my gel plates and we have teamed up with Gelli Arts to make some “summer fun” themed art projects! So here is my fun wee offering!
You can watch the video above to see how its done, and I will also talk you through the steps here.
For this project you will need:
- Some Deco Arts acrylic paints
- Small Gelli Arts ® plates (I used the triangle plate and the Jane Davenport seashell plate)
- Paper plate for mixing colours
- Brayer
- texture tools of your choice – I used a silicone tool and some cotton buds
- cardstock

I was inspired by the work of Wayne Thiebaud, who painted fabulous works of sweets, cakes and icecreams, such as this one below. Happy summer everyone! And happy printing!

Delicious fun!
